UMVIM Medical Fellowship exists to facilitate and encourage its members to witness to their faith in Jesus Christ as they use their God-given skill and gifts to provide volunteer health care services in areas of need throughout the world.

Membership is open to physicians, dentists, nurses, optometrists, pharmacists, allied health care personnel, lay persons who will support and participate in health care missions, clergy, churches, Sunday School classes, and other interested groups.

UMVIM Medical Fellowship provides you with the opportunity to share your knowledge and skills, witness to your faith through word and deed, and act as a mentor or support financially others who have heard the call to serve as a health care missioner.

Benefits of membership include:

• Participate in annual gathering held each summer at Lake Junaluska, North Carolina. Share experiences, worship, learning, and Christian fellowship in a setting of beauty. Enjoy lectures and a variety of workshops which will help to equip you for medical mission work.
• Receive assistance in the placement and preparation of volunteers for short-term medical mission services.
• Receive THE KNOCK, an inspirational, informative quarterly newsletter in which you will learn about life-transforming experiences and opportunities for short-term individual and team volunteer medical mission service.
